don't worry frankblack, as soon as this bug is clearly identified, we'll post it to the bugtracker 
for the moment, it seems that in certain circumstances, the use of the 'html' button opens a blank popup and deletes the contents of the article.
I try to see with the members concerned, how to reproduce this 'bug'.
